It’s been a good couple of days at WordCamp UK. This years’ event was hosted in Cardiff Bay and as I live virtually across the street (lucky), I couldn’t really turn the chance down!

Some interesting talks (some not so interesting…) and i’ve learnt a lot. WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg’s Q&A session was great to listen to yesterday. The man gives off a great deal of positive energy and I could have listened for hours. Plenty of food for thought.  Some of the other sessions were a tad light on insight, but others more than made up for it.

UPDATE: WordCamp UK presentation slides are now available to view on SlideShare

One exclusive is that it looks like WordPress MU will merge with ‘normal’ WordPress in the future, probably in version 3.0. I love the potential offered by MU / BuddyPress & bbPress, so will be interested to see how these projects evolve.
